Direct deals & campaigns

Publicit operates on a direct marketplace model β€” advertisers choose your spaces and book them directly, without an intermediary auction. This section explains how deals work, how campaigns are structured, and how to make the most of the direct booking model.

The direct booking model

Unlike programmatic advertising, where inventory is sold through real-time auctions, Publicit works on a direct booking basis:

  1. An advertiser builds a campaign and selects your space specifically.

  2. They submit the campaign and pay upfront.

  3. You review and confirm (or reject) the booking.

  4. The campaign runs on the agreed dates.

  5. You receive payment for the confirmed booking.

This model gives you full visibility over every campaign that runs on your inventory. You know the advertiser, the objective, the creative, and the dates β€” before you confirm anything.

Campaign structure

Each campaign request you receive is tied to an advertiser's broader campaign, which may include other publishers' spaces alongside yours. From your perspective, what matters is:

  • Your space β€” the specific placement being requested

  • Your budget allocation β€” how much the advertiser has allocated to your space within the campaign

  • The campaign dates β€” when the placement is scheduled to run

  • The advertiser's objective and targeting β€” context for evaluating whether the campaign is right for you

Multi-space campaigns

Advertisers often include multiple spaces from different publishers in a single campaign. You may receive a request as one of several publishers being asked to participate in a broader media plan.

Your decision to approve or reject is independent of what other publishers in the same campaign decide. You're not competing with other publishers for the booking β€” you're simply deciding whether this campaign is right for your space.

Exclusive bookings

If you want to offer a space exclusively to a specific advertiser β€” for a premium or guaranteed period β€” contact [email protected]envelope to discuss. We can help structure exclusive arrangements for advertisers committing to longer-term bookings.

Recurring relationships

Some of the most valuable arrangements on Publicit are recurring. An advertiser who runs a seasonal campaign on your billboard every year, or who sponsors your newsletter every month, represents predictable, high-quality revenue.

To build recurring relationships:

  • Deliver excellent results and report them clearly

  • Proactively reach out to past advertisers before peak seasons (Q4, back-to-school, summer)

  • Offer preferential pricing or early access to new spaces for returning advertisers

  • Use the Comments section to maintain the relationship between campaigns
